It is my pleasure to introduce Zeal Consult, a law firm providing comprehensive legal consultation and advisory services to local and international clients in Ethiopia.

Within a couple of years, we are honored that we have gained trust and cooperation from our clients both locally and internationally. We continuously appreciate the opportunity we are being given to serve all our clients. Ethiopia, a country that is recently opening up to the global market needs a meticulous approach when it comes to the legal services, and we make sure that we provide sound advice and guidance to our clients.

Selamawit Alemayehu is a partner at Zeal, heading the anti-counterfeit department. She has extensive knowledge and experience on legal matters, with specific expertise on Intellectual Property law, Domain names, Anti counterfeit rights, Data protection and Privacy law and Technology law. She advises companies both on contentious and non-contentious matters in the registration, renewal, opposition, invalidation, cancellation and anti-infringement cases of various IPRs by representing clients ranging from start-ups to Multi-National Companies. She has an LLB Degree from Wollo University and LLM in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Turin. She also advises various technology companies on the booming and complex technology law areas. She is a licensed trademark agent in Ethiopia.
